Youth Ministry

Bible Study opportunities:

Every Sunday morning our youth gather at 9:30 a.m. to discover Jesus throughout the Bible. From Genesis to Revelation the youth are discovering how the thread of the Gospel is woven through every book of the Bible.

On Wednesdays the youth meet up for a pot luck dinner at 5:30 p.m. then gather in the youth room for an interactive bible study from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Mission Opportunities:

Bossier Rescue Mission: Our youth have enjoyed helping in the kitchen as well as at the Thrift Store.

Weekend of the Cross: Every July our youth participate in Weekend of the Cross with other United Methodist Churches in Shreveport. Youth have the opportunity to spend a weekend building wheelchair ramps and painting homes.

Feeding the Homeless: Our youth love to be the Hands and Feet of Jesus. One of the ways they accomplish this is through helping to feed the homeless on Saturday mornings in downtown Shreveport.

Hope House: Another opportunity to help feed our downtown friends is through Hope House. During the summer our youth have the opportunity to join up with our United Methodist Women and provide breakfast for our friends at Hope House.

Coming summer of 2018:

Our youth will be headed to Big Stuff! For more information on Big Stuff, click here: Big Stuff

We would LOVE to have you become part of our growing youth group! Anyone in 6th grade through 12th grade is invited to attend our Sunday morning or Wednesday evening gatherings.
